Iris Bloom
My father and I visited the Memphis Botanic Garden last week, and were delighted to find the iris garden in full bloom. The Iris Garden is quite large, and centered around a fountain with a gorgeous statue in the middle. I will try to share a few photos of this beautiful spot in the next few days.

Beautiful iris! We used to have purple ones in our yard when I was a kid. I love the color of this one, it looks so delicate.

Just wanted you to know I stopped by. I have an update on my blog about my surgery. Thanks for understanding about the lack of comments.

Oooh! A ruffled iris! Beautiful.
Andrea, this photo is beautiful! I so enjoy seeing iris, each spring. Some of my favorites are the old fashioned ones, often found at abandoned houses or around old (empty) foundations.

Hi Southern Heart. I love this Iris! They are one of my favorite flowers as they are so lacey and traditional. I enjoyed looking at your blog. Your garden pictures are beautiful. I especially liked the mules! My dad owns mules so they have a special place in my heart. It seems that we have many things in common. Memphis looks like a beautiful place! Cheri (aka Dan's wife)
