More Tulips

Memphis Botanic Garden---Pink Tulips
These tulips at the Memphis Botanic Garden were almost done, but I thought this color combination was especially pretty. I know that a lot of you north of me are still seeing some wintry weather, but I will certainly be enjoying your pretty Spring when it's already hot, hot, hot here in the South. My mother and grandmother used to say "it's as hot as blue blazes" during the summer; have you ever heard that phrase?

Very pretty flowers. I enjoy seeing Spring even as we are still cold and wintry. I'm not jealous in the least:)

I'm enjoying your spring blossoms!

Did your weather take another cold turn today? Our temps dropped 30 degrees! Love the flowers!

Oops! I forgot two things: The Civil War battlefield I showed the other day is really not worth a special trip. . .There is nothing there right now, although you can see the remains of one breastworks if you know what you're looking for.

Also, if you get a chance to stop by my blog on Sat., I have a very interesting story.

Keep them coming for us "Northerners". We'll be sure to share our blooms when they finally show themselves.

First time I hear that phrase and it made me smile. I'm sure it gets humid down there in the summer. Well, it gets wicked hot and humid up here too.

Have a nice weekend! :)

Beautiful flowers and a great colloquial expression. I have heard that one before, but not in some time. Like Fénix, everything for me is 'wicked' ... wicked cold, wicked cool, wicked hot, and wicked funny. Where am I from? LOL
