This is a detail view of the lovely old stone wall that surrounds the Magnolia Cemetery in the Collierville area.
Memphis, the "City of Good Abode", is well known for its wonderful BBQ, The Blues, and of course...Elvis! But, there is even more to Memphis, including a rich and diverse history, architectural beauty, exquisite gardens, and warm, Southern charm...

I think walls like this add character.
Thanks for the nice comment.
Nice shot. Our cemetery has a stone wall too.
That's a lovely perspective, seems to lead the eye to somewhere far away and I think that's where the mind often goes when visiting a cemetery.
Your Aunt Marian sounds like one of the women that has enriched our Southern culture so much. A Southern Auntie Mame!
I really like stone walls. I must look out some in my archives of photos from around here. This is certainly lovely!
I would certainly appreciate your posting a condolence message in my blogs today for the wife of a good blogger friend...
