John Daly's Restaurant and Bar

One of our favorite casual eating places in the area is John Daly's (located just over the Memphis city limit line, in Mississippi). Yes, this restaurant and bar is owned by John Daly, the famous golfer who also lives in Memphis, and is every bit as spontaneous and fun as he is. Occasionally you will see him there, raising money for charity with his band (he golfs, and plays music, too!). The atmosphere is always perfect for having fun with family and friends, and the food---which ranges from burgers and appetizers to wonderful steaks---is consistently great. Check out the menu listed in the link above...yum! If you enjoy seeing sports/golf memorabilia, it is filled with some of John's items and photos from his years in golf, as shown above (you can click on photos to enlarge).

Casual restaurants are often the most fun...and usually have good food at reasonable prices.

I didn't know that was there. My husband is an avid golfer and I think he'd really appreciate seeing this place - and eating there too.

Dinner looks fabulous! What a hoot, to eat dinner, then get a chance to see, or talk with John Daly!

John is a good friend of my best friend... he is actually an incredibly nice guy too... very realistic and down to earth.

A theme going here! Welcoming places to eat/drink/gather. I'll have to make sure I put up my pics of the bistro, which shares the old building with the window, I used yesterday. :-)
