Winter Garden

Memphis has some beautiful gardens, but there isn't much blooming here this time of year. The big "show" of Spring is only a few months away (Memphis is absolutely breathtaking in April), but the flowering cabbage and kale have been particularly colorful and lovely this winter. I found these at Dixon Gallery and Gardens.

I love the look of these cabbage flowers. Especially the lavender here.

The range of colour from lavender to purple is quite striking.

Exactly the same here, it is so dull at the moment but I am surprised that your climate isn't warmer.

Congrats on the award! Lovely photo today. I really enjoy the "flowering cabbages" that folks have in their gardens.

Stunning shots. It's summer here in Australia, but our gardens bloom in winter as well, despite frosts!!
